    3. Heat a tempering pan on medium flame with oil is heated add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. (keep the flame low) add curry leaves and green chilli the tempering pan and immediately putting into the dal, cover it for a min then mix it.dal is ready.

    After that add, salt, red chili powder, green chili, turmeric, garlic, coriander powder and cumin powder. Skim the foam off the top if you want.
