- Mix the egg and a little water, onion powder, garlic, and honey. Heat the oil. The water usage should be minimal. You really want this batter tight.
- Split the hotdogs lengthwise but not all the way through. Dip into the batter. Make sure the batter is tight. Then fry turning as needed.

- The darker ones I used grated Parmesan cheese I didn't really like it.
