    1. Put potatoes into a large saucepan and cover with hot ( not boiling) water.
    2. Wash, peel and cut potatoes in half.
    3. Add a dash of salt to the water. Cook on a medium heat and they should be ready after about 15-20 minutes after they start to boil. ( To check if they are done stick a knife through one and they should be completely soft)
    4. Drain the water off the potatoes. Mash until there are no lumps left in the potatoes
    5. Mash in the tablespoon of butter to potatoes. Mix the milk into the potatoes with a wooden spoon. Add the pepper and mix it all together.
    6. Scoop with a potatoe scooper ( or ice-cream scooper) and serve :) :)
